I SAW, I TRIED AND I BOUGHT: NINE WEST SARNO PEEP-TOE SATIN PUMPS

I love Nine West. Can it be anymore blatant?
Its affordable, brings in great designs in a mind-boggling variety so no excuses for not being able to find a pair to suit your every occassion. But most importantly, they are oh-so-comfortable.

The maroon-purple satin Sarno peep-toe pumps fits the classic Nine West portfolio perfectly.

It's simple but yet edgy with the oversized errrr... ribbon (?) which rather reminds me of that bloody headgear the ancient chinese royal family don during the Qing dynasty. Don't ask me why, somehow i just keep getting the image in my head.

So! Back to the pumps! Another mega plus point for this pair is the side profile which i totally adore! No bones to pick with for this pair especially since its on HALF PRICE!!! HAHHAHA

Now, if you'd excuse me, i'm going to prance around in my "princess" heels. =)

CHIC VS CHEAP: STEVEN MADDEN VS CHARLES & KEITH

So, I decided to pop by the Shoes & Bags sale held at Taka Square again after grabbing 2 pairs back yesterday. Something tells me i've missed some great stuff out. Then, just as i was doing the mandatory scanning of every single rack, i knew why i was back here!

The reason came in a form of a pair of red patent espadrilles by who else but the King of Wedges, Steve Madden! Then, as fast as the excitement hits me, it died when i was told that there was no more magical size 8s. I've long established the fact that disappointment loves coming after me but it still gets me each time. *ROARS*

Then, as i dragged my body and the oh-so-familiar disappointment away from the sale, i saw a familiar sight!

Holy Ravoli!! Its the EXACT SAME PAIR at Charles & Keith!!! I'm not a fan of Charles & Keith at all, hence, i can't fathom what hit me to go into the store that day!! But i didn't waste a single minute trying the size and grabbing it back home at a quarter the price!

It's amazing how a pair of shoes can turn your day upside down isn't it? :)
